The first childrens utopia symposium will be held in Tehran

Director-in charge and Concessioner of Kids’ Utopia Quarterly: The symposium of Kids’ Utopia Quarterly is held with approach of explanation and study of a children-friendly city in Tehran.

While mentioning the goals and achievements of holding this national symposium, Seyed Kazem Seyed Morad declared: The symposium of Kids’ Utopia is held aiming at increase of scientific and technical knowledge for beneficiaries and decision makers, evaluation and study of university scientific and research plans, making required capacities for projects with approach of utilization and investment of private sector, explanation and study of a children friendly city.

Seyed Morad reiterated: In this symposium, an exhibition of children’s works entitled City from Viewpoint of Children will be exhibited and it will be possible for the visitors to connect with many architects and professors of this field. He also mentioned: The visitors of the symposium are influential and distinguished people of the society of urban development; sponsors of the event may get benefit from direct connection with the target group, which was less available for media due to being busy, through introducing their products and potentials.

While mentioning exhibition of children’s works, Seyed Morad stated: Presence of children plays and important role in decision making of urban designs which are suitable for children and we shall pay more attention to children’s demands in cities. Creation of children works may bring attractive ideas for designers and directors who are making decisions.

Head of association of architecture of Tehran continued: Safe, widespread and flexible cities and human towns for everyone, are rights of every citizen and child. Considering children in the heart of urban design and planning will cause our urban development becomes lovely, resilient, safe and comprehensive for everyone.

He also added: The symposium intends to gather a large number of activists and members of architecture field during the period of holding the event through its various and recognized sections. This chance will provide all the beneficiaries of this event with commercial exchanges in the best manner.

He reiterated that: Connection and application of experiences of masters and pioneers of architecture and urban development will be a chance that has been taken by younger architects; this symposium intends to pave the way to connect these two section of architecture and urban development through invitation and holding experience-based meetings.

At the end Seyed Morad described goals of this symposium and mentioned: Increase of scientific and technical knowledge for beneficiaries and decision makers, presentation of capability of society of architecture and urban development of Iran, invitation of associations, contractors and employers of urban development area, explanation of ways of cooperation of governmental and private institutions are the most important goals of holding this symposium.
